See how each site is doing.

Connect Umami once and every site's page shows visitors, visits, pageviews, bounce rate and visit duration, compared with the period before.

WordPress sites and static sites.

Umami numbers, next to everything else.

You keep your Umami. KontrolWP reads from it and shows the results where you manage the site.

  • Works with Umami Cloud or a self-hosted Umami
  • Matches each site to its Umami website by domain, or the one you pick
  • A site's page shows its numbers against the previous period
  • An Analytics tab goes deeper

The details

How it works, point by point.

Connecting

  • Add one Umami connection in Settings. Umami Cloud uses an API key, and a self-hosted Umami uses a username and password
  • The key or password is stored encrypted and never sent back to your browser
  • Saving tests the connection by listing your websites

Matching sites

  • A site is matched to the Umami website with the same domain, ignoring www
  • If that is wrong, choose the website yourself in Site settings

What you see

  • On the site's page: visitors, visits, pageviews, bounce rate and visit duration, with a comparison to the previous period
  • In the Analytics tab: pages, referrers, entry and exit pages, countries, cities, browsers, operating systems, devices and events, plus visitors on the site right now
  • Entry and exit pages need Umami 3, and any breakdown your Umami version does not support is left out

Per site

  • The Analytics tab appears once Umami is connected. Turn it off for a site in its settings and the tab is hidden

Good to know

  • Nothing is stored in KontrolWP. Numbers are fetched from Umami and refreshed every five minutes.
