Add tracking codes without touching a theme.
Each WordPress site has a Code snippets tab for small pieces of HTML or JavaScript that print in the head, the body or the footer.
For WordPress sites. Needs the KontrolWP Connect plugin.
Paste a code once, choose where it runs.
Good for analytics, tracking pixels and verification tags, without a separate plugin.
- Three places to print: the head, the start of the body, or the footer
- A name and an on and off switch for each snippet
- Run on every page, only on listed pages, or on every page except them
- Page rules take an address like /pricing, or /blog/* for everything under it
- Skipped by default for logged-in editors, so your own visits are not counted

The details
How it works, point by point.
Where and when
- Head, the start of the body, or the footer. The start of the body needs a theme that supports it
- Every page, only the pages you list, or every page except them
- Switch a snippet off to keep it without printing it
How it prints
- The code is printed exactly as written, with a comment above it naming the snippet
- Nothing prints in the admin, in feeds, in robots.txt or in the customizer preview
- Logged-in editors are skipped by default. You can turn that off
- Works whether or not SEO Management is on
