How it works, point by point.
Actions
- Add user creates the account on each site you choose, with an email and a role
- Change role, send a password reset or delete, on one site or many at once
- A failure on one site is reported for that user on that site and does not stop the others
Safeguards
- KontrolWP Connect refuses to delete or demote a site's only administrator
- When a user is deleted, their posts go to the earliest other administrator
- KontrolWP will not delete or demote the administrator that Magic Login signs in as
How the list stays current
- Each sync stores a site's users and roles, so the Users page reads instantly
- A site's own page reads its users live
- Up to 2,000 users are listed per site
Good to know
- Password resets and new-user emails are sent by the site itself, so they depend on that site's mail setup.
- Needs KontrolWP Connect 0.8.0 or later.
